I came here from wordpress. I had several sites where I could never get my message out properly. I try to focus my energies in helping young people find their way. I try to specialize in fulfillment and all the things that it entails.

That said, I came here to write and help. I enjoy looking at the stats and I'm slowly working my way up to getting some income for my works. I've only made a little less than $15 from my 48 articles in a couple months but I still put it out there. My views are going up and my reads are starting to match them. I'm learning and at the same time I'm hopefully helping. Where I found real value is in the commenting and reading aspect of the site. I just feel that it is a shame that so many who "write" on here are coming at it from the wrong end. They are looking at how they can make that $10 threshold and get the high score of followers.

I think that this platform has a hidden virtue that works for the real writers who are trying to do good work, but like all good things, there are those who are mucking it up by constant hacks and cheats just to try to manipulate the numbers.

Thoughts?
