I get it. I also do not like playing the game. I forgot who asked it on here, but it went something like Since when does a writer need the support of another writer, shouldn't the readers be the ones supporting us? or something to the like. I think the issue is that we see these "look at me and my writing riches" "stories" and become incentivized and then burned out. Something doesn't feel quite right. Like how can you write that many stories and only make that much a month? Then in the next article, someone says how they just started writing and now is buying controlling interest in Apple for cash?

I'm still writing on here, but at my pace and not like a content miller.
