I'm 100% with you on your article. Even though this is leisure reading and writing for many, there is still a responsibility of the writers to produce evidence backed information.

Sadly, too many people consider anecdotal evidence to be gospel. Cue up that scene from Ferris Bueller.."Um, he's sick. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious."

Some one take this statement as fact and look no further. I think we can do better than that as a collective writing group.
