It's quite the interesting conundrum. Regular "happy/perfect life" pictures are always spread around and people just except them as "the way they live". However, when less than honorable imagery makes it's way into the ether, they try to defend themselves with "wells, you knows, that's not how i really ams... etc"...

The truth is, neither one are how people really are. They are just snapshots of points in time. Not a full definition of character. Unless they are posted everyday for years and it's consistent.
