I turned my vehicle into a mobile classroom

Unlimited data plans are starting to be common. I have one but often wonder what the rest of the world does with theirs. During my long commute, I can see into other vehicles. You’d be amazed at how people use their phones while driving.

My commute is rather early so I have the distinct advantage of driving in the dark. Also, my company vehicle is a work truck, so I have the added advantage of altitude for my observations.

Every morning that I am on the road, the scenes in other people’s vehicles are consistent. Some people are watching T.V. shows. Others are actually video chatting. A lot of people are just scrolling social media. The rest are texting. THESE ARE ALL DRIVERS BTW.

So much for outlawing those behaviors.

So we’re clear, I am not against using your phone and data to enhance your commute. We all do it. The issue of safety and common sense does come into play. All I’ll say on the matter is be smart about it.
