Those who feel comfortable telling themselves and others that these things are just flukes or one-off events have clearly not looked into the insurance industry. That group of businesses actually have climate change models that they use to calculate rates and future payouts.

They are the ones who will end up paying the most for the climate change that is coming. If that doesn't tell willfully ignorant people what they need, then nothing will until they are the ones sitting on their roofs waving for help.
