Anybody who travels for a living will tell you they see a lot. Most of my travels I wish I could have someone along so they could observe all the things I do. Unfortunately the best I can do is snap pictures and video along the way and hope they can capture a small amount of the essence.

I see so many things from cool facilities like airports and museums to completely run down neighborhoods barely holding onto a semblance of humanity.

While traveling those highways and byways I encounter countless housing developments. They’re all stunningly the same. The colors range from an amazingly bland robins egg blue all the way to traditional predictable white, sometimes you get lucky to see an astonishing beige.

They just reach into your soul — so moving… (locate and insert eye roll emoji)

What you rarely see

It is no secret that I prefer modern and contemporary structures. I see them as architectural challenges that were overcome by great design and engineering. I don’t see awkward layouts and unusable space.
